I have so many favorite moments through my 4 years of high school. I can't really name a moment that was actually my favorite. Making so many good friends and learning so much is probably the best moments of my high school career. I made some great friends and lost some, but a few friends that stayed by my side. I can honestly say that these names that I'm about to name are the only people who had always had my back. Mercy, Liliana, Abner, and Erika. Meeting them was probably one of my favorite moments of high school because they been really there for me. So many great memories that we all made. You can't really find friends like this because some people out there are fake and don't really got you. It was my birthday and didn't except to get a surprise cake from Mercy and lili. I had came to Mercy's house to pick my computer and once I walked into her house, she and lili surprised me with a cake and balloons. None of my friends had ever surprised me like this, so it was a very heartwarming thing they did for me. Just shows that they really got me and I appreciate what they do for me. Especially my girl Erika, who dealt with my stupidness and who was always there for me.

Favorite moment as a senior
Really hard to tell which is my favorite moment because I have so many so far. I'll name a couple of good memories. One of my fav memory of my senior year is probably going on the northern trip. The northern trip was probably one of the coolest and best part of my senior year. It was my first time traveling, especially going somewhere new for me. I never traveled that far before so it was a great experience for me. I got to visit many cool places and colleges. Going to a new atmosphere felt great especially coming from Watts, where the atmosphere here ain't that great. I got to see things that I usually don't see in Watts. It was all fun for me. I never been to San Fransisco or even seen the Golden State Bridge until that trip. This trip was probably the highlight of my senior year. Pretty much all the cool trips and places I been to are all fav moments of my senior.
Favorite moment as a member in our Government / Economics class
One of my favorite moments in my Government/Economics class is probably when I had to act out the 1st and 4th amendment. It was pretty funny, but I loss some pride that day lol. I enjoyed doing the video and seeing everybody laugh. The whole acting it out part was probably the funniest since I had to act with a Texan/cowboy accent. Also watching other people do the same was pretty funny also. This probably one of the most memorable moments to me. My second favorite moment in my Government/Economics class is when Rocha would do current events. That's probably another favorable moments for sure. Rocha's current event was pretty cool and funny. Every Monday he would go over like 5 or 6 articles he'd show us online. There was times were he didn't show current events, so we would all scream "CURRENT EVENTS" until he does it. We all made jokes and it was pretty funny. My third favorite moment in Government/Economics class is when everybody in our class would roast Rocha. It is so funny that the whole class be dying of laughter, but also when Rocha decides to shoot back at us. That is for sure going to be another favorable moment for all us don't we won't forget.
Federalism
- Another cool topic that I learned that I like was Federalism. Federalism is when the power is divided between the national and state government. The creation of Federalism came due to the founding fathers fearing a strong central government that would control the entire country. This federalist system was created to allow the states to maintain local control of the residents in them. The federal system established by the constitution divided power and responsibility. Local issues were the province of the states(education, police protection). National issues were the province of the federal government( War, currency).
- The Importance of Federalism is the fact that it developed our today government. Without this idea we wouldn't have our current government. It just show how big of a difference it made. Also along federalism, it brought many ideas with it like a 3 branch system which help regulate the government. Many ideas were based on federalism, so just shows how influential this topic is.

Elections and Campaigns
- Another cool topic that I enjoyed learning was Elections and Campaigns and the whole process behind it. The overall idea of Elections and Campaigns is to see who would run for President and etc. We would see how each campaigns would push their popularity through each states. Expressing their ideas they thing is important or ideas that would please the people to get them on their side. To add fuel to their popularity. As we vote on which party campaign we think is the most suitable to win. I had no idea how much of process it goes into pushing these campaigns. As November pushes close, the election intensifies because then we the people have to decide which party who campaign the best would win.
- Probably the biggest importance of this topic is the overall results of the election. Why because we want to see who would become President of the United States. For example, in the 2016 Election, it was Trump vs. Hiliary. Probably the most controversial election ever. Many people didn't want Trump to win the election, but as it happen to be he would defeat Hiliary and become the president. Also, we see our options for which candidate would run for office, which is the whole importance of Campaigns. We see each how candidate pushes their campaign.
Amendment
- Probably one of my favorites topics was the Amendments because it was cool learning the rest of the Amendment, besides the 10 I know already. Just expanding my knowledge of the rest of the Amendments really helps me later on. The overall ideas of each of these Amendments is for us to know how each one of the amendments affect us and the country. For example, The 1st amendment gives us the right to freedom of speech, religion, assembly, petition and press. With the first Amendment we have to right to say whatever we want without being censored from the government or facing prosecution.
- The Importance of the amendments is for us to be familiar with them, having knowledge of what each of them do or affect us. A familiar amendment that we know besides the 1st amendment is the 5th amendment. The importance of the 5th Amendment which allows us to plead the fifth, meaning that we don't have to answer any question the police officer if they were to pull you over. You can just remain silent and not say anything. The more you're familair with each of the amendments, the more you know how to expressed your rights. It's a good thing to know of them judging on the situations your in. Like I mention early, if your in a situation where the cops seem to suspect you of something or stop, then you know your rights and how one of the amendments can help you in that siutation.
